There were several new rule changes proposed, voted on and passed today at our annual Big Bass meeting. They include:

* Change to the Big Bass optional side pools (lunker of the year and 6 pound pool) - The club has voted that the optional side pools are avaible to paid members only and that members may join at any time throughout the season.

*Change to how Classic Votes are cast - The club has voted to change the way the winning team votes for the Classic location. Starting with club tournament #1 in the 2017 season, the team that wins the tournament will receive 3 choices per envelope. First, second and third choice. At the end of the season, Angler of the Year will now pick only one envelope. If for some reason, we can’t hold the classic on the first choice, the second or the third choice will be picked from that envelope.

*How points are awarded in a club tournament where no fish are caught - The club has decided in the event that no fish are caught during a club tournament, winners will be determined by raffle drawing and no additional standings points will be awarded to the winners of the raffle. All anglers will receive 1 participation point. A tournament with no fish caught will NOT get a classic vote.

* 50/50 Raffle Tickets - The club has decided that the club president will pick the 50/50 Raffle Ticket winner before the tournament begins, rather than after the weigh-in as it was done in the past.

There were several new rule changes proposed, voted on and passed today at our annual Big Bass meeting. They include:

* Classic Vote Change Regarding Guest Teams That Win A Club Tournament - The club has voted that in the event that a team of guests wins a club tournament, the vote for location of Club Classic will be awarded to the highest placing member. Previously, there was no vote cast.

* 6 LB Pool, Lunker of the Year Pools, Lake Records & The Club Classic - The club has voted to extend the Lunker of the Year contest to now include the Club Classic. The winner of LOY and the LOY side pools will now be determined at the end of the Club Classic. Also, the 6 LB POOL can now be won during the Club Classic. Additionally, if a club record is set for heaviest bass or heaviest bag during the Classic, it will now count as the new club record for that lake.

* Equipment Breakdown Which Results In Loss of Use of Electric Motor on Electric Only Waters - The club has voted that in the event of fishing an electric only tournament and a contestant has an equipment breakdown resulting in loss of use of their electric motor, the team must notify a club official for assistance. If you start your gas motor, you will be DQ'D.

* Entry into the Optional Pools (LOY and 6 LB) - The club voted to require members to pay entry into the optional pools on or before the 1st club tournament of the season, or they forfeit their eligibility for that season.
