There were several new rule changes proposed, voted on and passed today at our annual Big Bass meeting. They include:

* Change to the Big Bass optional side pools (lunker of the year and 6 pound pool) - The club has voted that the optional side pools are avaible to paid members only and that members may join at any time throughout the season.

*Change to how Classic Votes are cast - The club has voted to change the way the winning team votes for the Classic location. Starting with club tournament #1 in the 2017 season, the team that wins the tournament will receive 3 choices per envelope. First, second and third choice. At the end of the season, Angler of the Year will now pick only one envelope. If for some reason, we can’t hold the classic on the first choice, the second or the third choice will be picked from that envelope.

*How points are awarded in a club tournament where no fish are caught - The club has decided in the event that no fish are caught during a club tournament, winners will be determined by raffle drawing and no additional standings points will be awarded to the winners of the raffle. All anglers will receive 1 participation point. A tournament with no fish caught will NOT get a classic vote.

* 50/50 Raffle Tickets - The club has decided that the club president will pick the 50/50 Raffle Ticket winner before the tournament begins, rather than after the weigh-in as it was done in the past.
